In 2003, Yarmouk University and the RCSI entered into a partnership to deliver an MSc in Health Services Management. The program is accredited by Yarmouk University and faculty from RCSI travel to Jordan to teach about half of the modules. This program is aimed at all those working in the health services– doctors, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and administrators. The programme is held in Amman and classes usually take place after the working day and at weekends.
Over 100 students have now graduated from the program and have benefitted from their masters education in terms of their career development. One of the highlights of the programme to date was the attendance of Her Royal Highness, Princess Muna of Jordan, at the graduation in 2009. Yarmouk University is the second largest university in Jordan with a total of 33,000 students and 12 Colleges.

He said “we are looking forward to building on our current progress and starting new initiatives between the two institutions”.
